Graduated with a Law degree from the School of Law at Universidad Regiomontana, with more than 40 years of professional experience.
He also completed a Master’s Degree in Tax Law, as well as the AD-1 and AD-2 Executive Management Programs at IPADE Business School.
Career Path
Since 2001, he has served as Senior Partner at AV&M Consultores Jurídicos, where his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, corporate law, financing transactions, estate planning, real estate developments, and general legal advisory services.
Prior to founding AVM, he held executive and senior management positions for over 20 years at Grupo Protexa, Proeza, Grupo Financiero Margen, and GRUMA. In these roles, he was responsible for structuring, negotiating, and formalizing domestic and international transactions, primarily involving financing, mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, and complex contractual matters.
For five years, he served as a professor of Tax Law, Obligations, and Contracts at several universities in Monterrey.
He has been an active member of the Mexican Bar Association, Nuevo León Chapter (BMA), for more than 15 years. He has also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Proeza, ANADE, the BMA, and Valle Alto Golf Club. Currently, he acts as advisor and board member to various domestic and multinational companies.
